CSC 436 Students Create Hack Arizona Mobile App
Jan. 29, 2018
Student project helps attendees plan and connect
Hack Arizona 2018 was held January 12-14, 2018 in the Science and Engineering Library on the University of Arizona Campus. For the first time in Hackathon history, attendees were able to use a mobile app that students in CSC 436 created as a class project. Emily Alexander (BA ‘17), Cody Deeran (BS ‘17), Erika Kess (Senior), and Joseph Kimbuende (BS ‘17) developed one interface and two code bases for the Android and iOS mobile apps. The app allowed all participants to see the schedule, search for events based on interests, connect with mentors and other attendees, and view live streams of events. It surely contributed to the success of Hack Arizona 2018!
