About Me
I joined the CS department February 2020, prior to my role here as an Information Technology Support Analyst, I worked for a local ISP where my responsibilities included anything from level 1 phone support to server administration and PBX configuration. I studied at the Pima Community College for Network Administration and Network Security, where I was able to readily apply that knowledge for the University of Arizona.
My primary role in the department is to support IT systems, from student accessible workstations, to providing support for research computing and infrastructure for the department. I also assist in managing the classrooms and labs as well as the printers for our department.
In my free time, I find myself enjoying videogames; I would consider myself an avid Virtual Reality enthusiast, always fascinated and impressed with what artists and developers do with the platform. I am also a novice Ametuer Radio operator, I find radios and methods of transmitting information enthralling. I also often tinker with virtualization, finding the limits of what it can and can’t do, and applying that interest into my role at the University.
