Biography

I am a third-year PhD student under the supervision of Professor Mihai Surdeanu. I am originally from Romania. I earned my Bachelor of Computer Science in 2018, followed by a Master in Computer Science in 2020.

Machine Learning in general and Natural Language Processing in particular.

What long-term project do you want to work on?

Program synthesis, interpretability in neural networks, fairness and bias, neural network architectures.

What do you enjoy most about your work?

I enjoy the problem-solving part, together with continuously pushing the boundaries of my knowledge and understanding.

What are your career goals

Work on solutions for high-impact problems.

I was a visiting student at the University of Arizona in 2019. I did research in Neuroscience during my Bachelor's degree. I like reading and doing sports.
