I proudly joined the Department of Computer Science in June 2022. Supporting others along their education journey has always been a passion of mine. In this role, I work to utilize my experiences and mentorship skills to support and help students thrive and reach their goals. Prior to this position, I was a 4th and 5th grade teacher as well as an assistant principal servicing students K-8th grade. I graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and earned my Masters Degree in Educational Leadership with Principal Certification from Northern Arizona University. I was born and raised in Tucson and have called it home my entire life.

During my leisure time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and playing with my six nephews. I have a dachshund named Oscar who has a big personality and constantly wants to play tug of war and fetch. I am a big sports fan and cheer on all UA athletics, Arizona Diamondbacks, Phoenix Suns, and Arizona Cardinals.
